This is a free website evaluation for Community Covenant Church in Lenexa, KS, at http://www.cccks.org/. The purpose of the assessment is to help the church understand how it can improve its presence online.
Framework
This website is built using LightCMS and ASP.net. I am not sure how that works, but I know that ASP is difficult for the novice to comprehend and use.
Mobile-Friendly
According to Google, Community Covenant's website is not mobile friendly. The website is being ranked lower because of this, and it's difficult for members and potential members to learn more on the website on mobile devices.
Other Concerns
The website uses Adobe Flash, and this can be an issue on some browsers and on mobile.
There does not seem to be a good way of archiving news or sermons, so old posts are just deleted. While this keeps the site seemingly fresh, it's a lost opportunity to draw someone in with something posted last year. Once you navigate the website, there's a lot of content buried in categories, so the website does not suffer from lack of content. I would just try to get something new towards the front of the site more often.
Mainly, I'd demand a new template that is mobile-friendly. Depending on what service is being used here, it might be up to the end-user to just pick a new template. I'd also get rid of the Flash element and add more articles that are news-like.
